You love our scented candles as much as we do and that's why this blog post is about our top products! We would like to give you 7 tips on how you can best care for your scented candles.

  

1. Flip it!

So that your favorite scented candle can best develop its scent, you can leave the candle for approx. 24 hours reversed put on the table. This means that the scent aromas can be better distributed in the candle wax and the candle will exude an even more intense scent when lit.

Tip: After lighting your candle for the first time (if it is cold!), you can occasionally leave it upside down again to intensify the scent.

 

2. Burning time

When you light your scented candle, it is best to let it burn until all of the wax has melted.

The optimal burning time is 1-4 hours. You should not let your candle burn for more than 4 hours at a time. 

 

3. Location

It is important that your scented candle has the right location because it is not just plants that love a place without a draft. To ensure that the candle wicks burn evenly and to prevent your candle from sooting, you should place your candle in a place where no draft prevails.

Please also make sure that your candle is not nearby of flammable objects or walls. 

Leave your candle never unattended and keep them out of reach of children and animals. Since it can get very hot while burning, you should not touch your scented candle with your hands until it has cooled down. 4. Protect surfaces

You will also be able to enjoy your candle for longer if your wicks are trimmed regularly. This means the flames don't get as high and your candle burns longer. It's best to cut your wicks after each use about half a centimeter above the wax surface and throw the cut parts of the wick into the trash can. 

  

6. Residual wax
