Hello dear ones,

In this post we would like to introduce you to 3 simple steps explain how you get out of your Leftover candle wax very simple new great products can bring to life.

Broken candle jar: If you have a broken candle jar, please hit it carefully with a hammer to completely remove the wax. It's best to wrap it in an old cloth beforehand. To protect your hands, we also recommend that you wear cut-resistant gloves.

1st step: Crush candle wax residue, remove wicks

Before you can cast new candles with your old candle wax, you must first Remove the old wax from your candles and chop them up.

For that, wait until your Candles cold are and that Wax solid has become. Now you can gently remove the wax from the glass with a blunt knife.  (If the wax cannot be removed easily, you can briefly place the glass in a hot, not boiling water bath until the edge melts slightly.) Then you can place it on a Zewa or a cutting board and slowly chop it up. It is best to cut out the old wicks directly and dispose of them in the trash.

2nd step: Melt leftover candle wax

In order to breathe new life into your old candle wax, you have to melt it in the next step.

For this you should have the following things ready:

  • A large pot for the water bath
  • An old can, heatproof jar, or old cup
  • An old spoon/wooden stick for stirring
  • New wicks
  • New candle jar, candle molds or fragrance lamp stands

Now the first step you should take is to collect your collected pieces of wax in your old cup or other container. Next, heat water in a pot until it boils briefly and then turn the flame down so that the water remains hot but no longer bubbles to the boil. Now you can put your container with the wax in the water bath and stir carefully.

Please make sure that no water drips into your wax.

Caution: Under no circumstances should you melt your wax directly in a pot on the stove. Candle wax containing paraffin can easily ignite! Under no circumstances should you melt wax in the microwave or oven, as this also increases its flammability.

Step 3: “Build” new wax products

If your Wax completely liquid has become, you can start pouring yourself a new candle. You can add another to your candle wax new scent or a different color Add a few drops of essential oils or wax dye to the liquid wax and stir well.

Now place your new wicks in your new candle jar or candle mold and secure them with a kebab skewer so that they don’t tip over when you pour the wax.

Now you can carefully pour some candle wax into the new mold and let it cool.

Pro tip: Pour the wax into your new candle jar in several steps and not all at once. You should definitely only pour the last layer when the remaining wax has cooled down, this way you avoid a hollow in the top layer!

Alternatively, you can let the scented wax cool slightly and form small wax balls out of it. You can then place these in an aroma lamp and light them with a tea light underneath. Enjoy the scent throughout the room!
