Notes on battery disposal
Battery Act (BattG)
Some of our products contain batteries or accumulators, e.g. B. in shape of Button batteries required for operation. In connection with the sale of these batteries, we as dealers are obliged in accordance with the Battery Act (BattG) to point out the following to you:
1. Obligation to return of Old batteries
Batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to hand in used batteries to a suitable collection point. Alternatively, you can send your used batteries back to us free of charge:

Please make sure to provide sufficient franking for the shipment.
2. Meaning of the garbage can symbol
Batteries that contain harmful substances are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out garbage can. This symbol indicates that batteries do not belong in household waste. Below the garbage can symbol are chemical abbreviations for the pollutants contained:
• Pb: Battery contains lead
• Cd: Battery contains cadmium
• Ed: Battery contains mercury
3. Button battery safety notice
Products with button batteries pose a particular risk because they can be swallowed. Always keep button batteries out of reach of children. If a battery is swallowed or enters the respiratory tract, seek medical attention immediately.
