Notes on Battery Disposal
Battery Act (BattG)
Some of our products contain batteries or accumulators, e.g., in the form of of button cells, which are necessary for operation. In connection with the sale of these batteries, we as a retailer are obliged under the Battery Act (BattG) to inform you of the following:
1. Obligation to Return of Used Batteries
Batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries to an appropriate collection point. Alternatively, you can send your used batteries back to us free of charge:

Please ensure that the shipment is sufficiently stamped.
2. Meaning of the Trash Can Symbol
Batteries containing harmful substances are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out trash can. This symbol indicates that batteries do not belong in household waste. Below the trash can symbol are chemical abbreviations for the harmful substances contained:
• Pb: Battery contains lead
• Cd: Battery contains cadmium
• Hg: Battery contains mercury
3. Safety Notice on Button Batteries
Products with button batteries pose a particular risk as they can be swallowed. Always keep button batteries out of the reach of of children. If a battery is swallowed or enters the airways, seek medical help immediately.
